Hello everyone! I am Mike and I am new here. Not new to the area, but new to this group. I am a married upper 30s Lake Jackson guy with some gaming experience.
Basically, I do well with trivia or knowledge based games. I absolutely suck at strategy games. I am here to socialize and make friends. I also would like to have some fun along the way. From what I see in the group photos, I know not of what games are played. I do a small tad of online gaming and am looking to try EVE. Never thought of WoW, but am open to many things Well, anyone have any questions for the ol Mikester? |

The best that we personally own is scene it for the xbox and a travel version of Tribond. I know that Patrick and Jacque like word games. We play a lot of strategy games but they are eurotype easy to learn, difficult to master. They are about a hour or more to play. My wife and I just got out of a short WoW phase. We haven't tried Eve. Patrick and Myself are big Team Fortress II fans and I recently just reinstalled the original StarCraft. We have a lot of video games on XBox arcade. -------------------- I don't take 20's... We have a lot of video games on XBox arcade. Sweet. I am open to learning new games. I haven't played Team Fortress since, well, my...1998? Back in the good old days when 56kbps connection was by luck, and you kicked out any latency demon 14.4s. I do have TF2 (bought the Orange Box for Portal) and have toyed around with it, but not against anyone. I own a PS2, and except for the occasional trip down Madden 2006 memory lane, it is gathering dust (its a pre-infrared model). My gaming machine is a Q6600 PC with dual 8800 Ultras in SLI and 3x320 Seagate .11 s in RAID 0. I have played the crap out of Company of Heroes, and have all of the Call of Dutys except the newest. Did the Portal/Half Life series as well. Mainly its just CoH and FSX that I spend any time on. Sorry I didn't get out and visit on Saturday. My son decided that he needed to sleep all afternoon.
